STANDARD PREP

Mixing ratio: 1:1.5
In a non-metallic bowl, mix 1 part Creative Permanent Color + 1.5 parts Oxidizing Emulsion 5 vol. 1.5%, 10 vol. 3%, 20 vol. 6%, 30 vol. 9%, 40 vol. 12% (example: 50 g Creative Permanent Color + 75 g Oxidizing Emulsion 20 vol. 6%).

FORMULATION and EXPOSURE TIME

• Toning/darker: Oxidizing Emulsion 5 vol. 1.5%, exposure time 20 min*
• Maximum of 1 level of lift: Oxidizing Emulsion 10 vol. 3%, exposure time 30 min*
• 1 - 2 levels of lift: Oxidizing Emulsion 20 vol. 6%, exposure time 35 min*
• 2 - 3 levels of lift: Oxidizing Emulsion 30 vol. 9%, exposure time 40 min*
• 3 - 4 levels of lift: Oxidizing Emulsion 40 vol. 12%, exposure time 45 min*

*leave it on for another 5 minutes to increase the luminosity or the intensity of the reflections.

The Metallic series may only be used at 5 or 10 vol. on hair that has already been bleached.

APPLICATION

Distribute the Color Specifics Powerful Protector over the entire scalp area. Use gloves to apply colour to dry, unwashed hair. (Wash hair if it is excessively greasy or has styling product residue build-up).

SERVICE TYPE

Dyeing with shades of the same natural tone or darker:
Apply the mixture to the roots, lengths and ends and leave it on for 30 minutes.
Lightening shades:
Apply the mixture 2 cm away from the roots towards the ends and leave it on for 20 minutes. Mix the same mixture again and apply it to the roots. Leave it on for another 30-45 minutes. For use on mid-lengths and ends, it is advised to use a higher oxidising agent than that used on the roots for greater colour intensity and brilliance.
Dyeing with the “high lifters” series:
Apply the mixture 2 cm from the roots towards the ends and leave it on for 20 minutes. Mix the same mixture again and apply it to the roots. Leave it on for another 45-60 minutes. Dyeing the roots: Apply the mixture to the roots only and leave on for 25-30 minutes. To refresh the colour on lengths and ends, apply a milk_shake® direct colour shade or a milk_shake® Smoothies shade and leave it on for 5-10 minutes.
Retouch with the “high lifters” series:
Apply the mixture to the roots only and leave it on for 45-60 minutes. To refresh the colour on lengths and ends, apply a milk_shake® direct colour shade or a milk_shake® Smoothies shade and leave it on for 5-10 minutes.

RINSING

Add some lukewarm water and massage in the colour cream for about 2 minutes. Then rinse carefully. Continue with the Color Specifics Acid Color Sealer, apply and massage for 2 minutes without rinsing afterwards. Follow up with the Color Sealer Shampoo and Color Sealer Conditioner. Style the hair as usual after rinsing.
