The history:

Movember has been an annual event in Australia since 2003. It is now gaining popularity worldwide. The term “Movember” is a combination of “moustache” and “November”.

During the month of November, events are held to raise awareness and funds for men's health. The main focus is on improving the prevention and treatment of prostate and testicular cancer.

The moustache:

During this month, men often grow moustaches as a symbol to raise awareness of men's health. However, there are certain rules to follow in order to become a BroMo:

participants must start November cleanly shaven
beards and goatees are not permitted.

The moustache, on the other hand, can be styled according to personal preferences. In addition to drawing attention to important health concerns, growing a moustache can also make one's face appear narrower and accentuate the contour of the chin.
