Fast Tanning Without Harmful UV Rays

Selected products for an even-looking complexion

Don't have the time or the opportunity to lie in the sun for hours on end, or simply don't want to expose your skin to the harmful effects of UV rays for long periods of time? Then self-tanning products are a great alternative. There are a wide selection of self-tanning products that will give you the finish that you desire

There are a few things you should bear in mind to avoid unsightly spots or streaks when using self-tanning products.

1. Exfoliate

Exfoliate the skin to remove dead skin cells before using self-tanning products. An uneven complexion absorbs the brown colour to varying degrees, which can lead to unwanted spots. Apply the scrub in circular motions then rinse it off thoroughly.

2. Wash hands after use

Wash your hands with soap after using a self-tanning product to avoid unsightly orange tone left behind. Alternatively, use special applicators/gloves when applying the product, such as the Bronz'Express applicator.

3. Even application

It is essential to distribute the product evenly to avoid the formation of streaks on the skin. It is also important to pay attention to areas such as the back of the knees and the upper arms. Special applicators/gloves make it easier to spread the product evenly and without leaving any gaps in between. They also prevent the product from staining the hands and are reusable and machine washable.

4. Moisturise

Before using self-tanning products, it is advisable to apply cream to areas such as the elbows, knees and feet to avoid streaks or spots. As the skin is thicker and rougher in these areas, it also absorbs more colour particles. However, the colour intensity can be reduced by applying conventional body lotions to these areas beforehand.

5. Avoid white textiles

To prevent discolouration on bed linen or clothing, avoid contact with light-coloured fabrics during the application time.
