5 Colour treatment tips

Perform a strand test

It's a good idea to do a strand test before colouring your hair to see if you'll get the colour you want. Take a strand of hair that's not usually visible, apply the color as directed, and see if the result meets your expectations. If you need more warmth or brightness, you can adjust accordingly. It may take some time, but doing a strand test will save you from any unpleasant surprises. Here are some detailed instructions on how to carry out the test.

01 Work section by section

Divide the hair into 4 neat sections for easier and cleaner application.

02 The right tool

Use the tip of the brush or a tail comb to coat small areas. If you prefer to dye with the applicator bottle, use the tip of the bottle to separate small sections for dyeing.

03 Lift the base

When dyeing the hair, hold thin strands of hair vertically to the head and work from top to bottom to ensure you completely cover the roots. When touching up the hair colour, make sure that the dye does not overlap with previously dyed hair.

04 Scanning

Not sure where to apply the dye? Feel your hair to be sure you are colouring the right area.

05 Check your work

It always helps to see what you are doing. Perform regular checks with a hand mirror throughout the application process.

Note

We would like to expressly point out that these are recommendations. Therefore, carefully read and observe the description of the product being used that contains precise details about the application process, as well as important topics, such as skin intolerances, allergic reactions, etc.
